Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ADABAS Administrator to support and maintain enterprise applications within a large government program environment. The selected candidate will collaborate with other database administrators to support critical systems, ensure database performance, and assist with system modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and support ADABAS database environments and related Software AG technologies.
Analyze user requirements and design system solutions.
Perform testing, implementation, and quality assurance for enterprise information systems.
Support applications utilizing Natural One, ADABAS, and associated technologies.
Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, procedures, and policies.
Provide recommendations related to system architecture and database design.
Work closely with development, operations, and program teams to support system enhancements and maintenance.
Support systems aligned with child welfare and economic assistance programs.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience with Software AG technologies including:
o ADABAS
o Natural / Natural One
o Predict
o Construct
o ADABAS Replication
o Treehouse tcVision
o WebMethods EntireX
o CONNX SQL Gateway
o ApplinX
o Natural AJAX
10+ years of experience working with:
o MVS/JCL
o COBOL/CICS
o VSAM files
o Linux/zLinux
o Espsoft/SCL
o Informix
o UNIX
3+ years of experience:
o Advising on system architecture
o Creating and maintaining technical documentation, policies, and procedures
2+ years of experience with:
o SNAP, TANF, or eligibility/economic assistance programs
o Child welfare policies and procedures
o Implementing state and federal mandates in Linux systems

Preferred Skills
Experience with Jira and KACE ITSM systems
Experience working in SCRUM / Agile methodologies
Experience modernizing legacy applications
Familiarity with child welfare workflows and related federal requirements
