Job Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile business analysis, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder collaboration and a proven ability to translate business needs into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for delivery teams.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary interface with business partners, solution architects, and cross-functional technology teams.
- Analyze current processes and systems and assess business models and technology integration.
- Elicit, document, and manage detailed functional and technical requirements, business rules, and process flows.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to evaluate features, write effective user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
- Work with developers to review designs, identify enablers and dependencies, and ensure requirements are executable.
- Support SIT and UAT by clarifying requirements and distinguishing defects from new requirements.
- Identify capability gaps and opportunities for process refinement and improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst with strong analytical skills and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements and process flows.
- Ability to define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria and partner closely with developers and testers.
- Experience supporting SIT and UAT and evaluating issues versus new requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision and sound problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to analyze existing capabilities and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Working knowledge of Agile tools such as JIRA with 3+ years of practical Agile experience.
- Experience acting as a Product Owner or partnering closely with a Product Owner to define business needs.
Preferred Skills:
- Background refining business processes within Agile Scrum teams.
- Experience collaborating across architecture and engineering to manage dependencies and enablers.
