This position is for a Business Analyst who will serve as the primary interface with business partners, solution architects, and cross-organizational technology teams. The analyst will assess current processes and systems, evaluating the business model and its integration with technology. The role involves collaborating with an Agile Scrum team to refine business needs into executable specifications for the development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary interface with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, and identify risks.
- Work with stakeholders to understand needs, analyze problems, and capture requirements.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to evaluate features, write effective user stories, and document business rules.
- Partner with the development team to refine requirements into technical specifications.
- Review technical design, identifying enablers and dependencies.
- Provide support to UAT and SIT testers to clarify requirements.
- Communicate with testers to ensure test plans and scripts satisfy requirements.
- Analyze existing capabilities to identify gaps and opportunities for process refinement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, working closely with business partners.
- Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements.
- At least 3 years of practical agile experience, with a working knowledge of tools such as JIRA.
- Experience in converting business needs into epics and stories.
- Proficiency in analyzing and refining business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and business team members.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills suitable for facilitating discussions.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $50.00 and $56.18 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
