Location Requirement: The primary work location will be 4601 W Gudalupe St, Austin, Texas 78751.
Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Thurs) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius). **Subject to change per the hiring team**
Candidates must already reside in Texas.
Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
GitHub Administrator will be responsible for governance, security, compliance, and automation of the GitHub Enterprise platform. Ensure DevSecOps enablement, audit readiness, and standardized CI/CD practices across the enterprise software development lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Git-based version control administration
- Hands-on experience managing GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server) organizations
- Expertise in RBAC, SAML/SSO, and branch protection strategies
- Proficiency in GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflow automation
- Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Experience with audit logging, compliance reporting, and access reviews
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, Secret Scanning)
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
- Knowledge of policy-as-code implementations
- Ability to document governance standards and developer guides
- Experience leading technical enablement sessions
