Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $45.00hr - $50.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services.
  • Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proficiency in GoLang.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, container platforms, and monitoring solutions.
  • Familiarity with event streaming, API frameworks, and security protocols.
  • Exposure to financial services domains.
  • Strong awareness of compliance, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and deliver cloud-native, microservices-based platforms within a financial services environment.
  • Lead the development of scalable, secure, and resilient systems using modern microservices architecture.
  • Define architectural patterns such as API-first design, event-driven systems, and domain-driven design.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and banking regulations.
  • Build high-performance backend services using Spring Boot and leverage GoLang for optimized, low-latency services.
  • Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Establish best practices for automated provisioning, deployment pipelines, and environment consistency.
  • Oversee DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of full-stack engineering outcomes, particularly backend and API layers.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration across systems.
  • Design solutions that meet data privacy standards and ensure high availability for mission-critical functions.
  • Optimize throughput, reduce latency, and implement resilience patterns through performance engineering.
  • Manage distributed teams across onsite and offshore locations.
  • Mentor engineers and enforce engineering best practices regarding code quality and secure coding.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
