Elekta, world's leading developer of state-of-the art medical tools and treatment planning systems, is looking for a Senior IT Specialist, Workday SME to join our team.

This role is a senior specialist in Human Resources Management Systems (HRIS) with advanced configuration capabilities in multiple functionalities. This role partners with the stakeholders to find solutions for new business needs and improve existing processes. Foster continuous improvement by actively seeking user feedback and monitoring system performance. Oversee HRIS development and implementation (cross functional) projects from scoping to deployment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Location: This is an office-based position located in Atlanta, requiring 4 days onsite and one day of remote work per week.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end HRIS projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with HR and cross functional teams to tailor HRIS interfaces, workflows, and features to evolving organizational needs.

- Analyse HRIS data and generate reports to support strategic decision-making.

- Ensure integrity of compliance with HR process and data-protection acts.
  • Address complex technical issues related to HRIS and provide expert level support to users.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to collect, evaluate, and prioritize user requirements for ongoing system enhancements.
  • Take a leading role in HRIS development and improvement projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for system enhancements and propose innovative ideas
  • Drive specialized project which extend beyond core system capabilities, requiring advanced expertise, creative problem-solving, and research into (new) system functionalities.

  • Act as the HRIS representative within cross-functional projects.
  • Advocate for HRIS requirements, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in managing HRIS systems,
  • 3+ years of experience in Workday administration
  • Advanced proficiency of multiple components, features, and functions of Workday.
  • Proven understanding of end-to-end HR processes and comprehensive knowledge of HRIS systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (in English).
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on user satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to manage concurrent projects and meet their respective deadlines.
  • Experience conducting training sessions for HR staff on HRIS usage.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Adaptable and open to occasional time zone adjustments.
