Job Title : UX Writer & Content Designer III Location : New York, NY Worksite : Remote Duration : 12+ months Job Overview Seeking an experienced UX Writer & Content Designer to join the Editors organization supporting products including Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites, Vids, and Pics. This role sits at the intersection of UX writing, content strategy, AI innovation, and product design, helping shape the future of content creation experiences across client productivity suite.
Required Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in UX Writing, Content Design, Content Strategy, or related disciplines.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX writing, information architecture, content strategy, and product thinking.
- Experience working on enterprise software, SaaS platforms, or large-scale consumer products.
- Deep understanding of UX principles, microcopy, user flows, and content systems.
- Experience developing taxonomies, terminology standards, and scalable content frameworks.
- Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI-assisted product experiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and influence product decisions.
- Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills.
Responsibilities - Develop UX content, product copy, and content strategies for Workspace products.
- Define product terminology, taxonomy, naming systems, and scalable content frameworks.
- Create user-centered experiences across onboarding flows, feature launches, and error states.
- Design content strategies for AI-powered and multimodal experiences involving text, voice, and visual interactions.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Researchers, and Engineers to influence product direction.
- Establish governance and consistency across multiple product teams.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and intuitive user experiences.
- Drive content decisions through user insights, product goals, and business objectives.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience designing AI-powered user experiences.
- Familiarity with conversational interfaces and generative AI products.
- Experience working within large product ecosystems and design systems.
- Background supporting productivity, collaboration, or creative software platforms.
