Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) with experience in US IT staffing sales and client acquisition. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of bringing in direct clients, MSP opportunities, or staffing partnerships and managing the full sales cycle.
This role is ideal for professionals who are confident in generating new business, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the IT staffing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities with direct clients, MSP programs, system integrators, and staffing partners
Generate IT staffing requirements through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and existing contacts
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, client onboarding, requirement gathering, candidate submissions, interviews, and deal closure
Collaborate closely with the recruiting team to deliver high-quality candidates for client requirements
Build and maintain long-term relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and MSP program managers
Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and achieve weekly and monthly revenue targets
Stay informed about IT hiring trends and client technology needs
Required Qualifications
1–5+ years of experience in US IT staffing sales, business development, or account management
Proven experience bringing in new clients or staffing requirements
Experience working with MSP/VMS platforms such as Fieldglass, Beeline, or similar systems
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and consistently generate new opportunities
Understanding of IT skillsets, consulting models, and staffing processes
Preferred Qualifications
Existing network of hiring managers, MSP contacts, or staffing partners
Prior experience working with US-based IT staffing companies
Strong pipeline development and client relationship management skills
Compensation
This role offers a highly competitive commission structure with uncapped earning potential. Compensation is performance-based, allowing successful candidates to earn significant commissions based on client acquisition and placements.
