The Essentials
Role: Enterprise Architect (Mid–Senior)
Term: 6+ Months (Contract)
Pay: $72/hr (W2 Only)
Location: Chicago (Must be local for an onsite, face-to-face interview)
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Enterprise Architect, you are the bridge between big-picture strategy and boots-on-the-ground execution. You’ll be designing scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that keep the organization growing.
Solution Design: Build software systems that are as robust as they are efficient.
Strategic Balance: Master the art of meeting short-term project deadlines without sacrificing long-term architectural integrity.
Be the Champion: Advocate for and implement best practices across microservices, APIs, and cloud security.
Collaboration: Speak "Business" and "Tech" equally well to keep diverse stakeholders aligned and moving forward.
Your Technical Toolkit
We are looking for a seasoned pro with a minimum of 8 years in an Enterprise Architect or similar senior technology role.
Core Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Cloud Mastery: Deep proficiency across the "Big Three" - AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Systems & Code: Expert-level knowledge of operating systems and programming languages like Java, .NET, Python, or C.
Architectural Depth: A rock-solid understanding of architecture patterns, implementation techniques, and service definitions.
The "Added Advantage" (Bonus Skills)
Experience leading code reviews and performing security assessments.
Hands-on expertise in incident response.
Deep-dive knowledge into microservices and API security best practices.
