Key Responsibilities
- Oversee capital project accounting, including project costs and closeout.
- Manage the fixed-asset lifecycle, including additions, transfers, and reconciliations.
- Lead asset retirement obligations accounting and related processes.
- Handle impairment considerations, asset disposals, and gain/loss calculations.
- Establish and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license.
- Extensive experience in property, plant, and equipment accounting.
- Hands-on experience with asset retirement obligations.
- Strong knowledge of fixed assets, depreciation, and reconciliations.
- Experience in audit support and accounting remediation.
