Role summary:
The Senior Manager, Data Analytics, leads the development and execution of data strategies to support business objectives through advanced analytics and data-driven insights. The position requires collaboration across functions to align analytics initiatives with organizational goals, mentoring team members, and promoting continuous improvement. The Senior Manager ensures compliance with data governance standards while driving innovation to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
About the team:
The team supports Walmart Real Estate by enabling timely, data-driven decisions through advanced analytics and comprehensive data strategies. Specialists in data quality, visualization, and business intelligence collaborate across departments to identify key data sources, maintain data integrity, and convert business needs into actionable insights. Utilizing statistical analysis and big data techniques, they address complex challenges with innovative tools and methods. Committed to continuous improvement and effective communication, the team guides stakeholders to achieve measurable business outcomes aligned with Walmart's strategic goals.
What you'll do:
  • Identify and assess data sources aligned with business requirements and quality standards to support analytics initiatives.
  • Develop and implement data strategies that enhance data quality, accessibility, and governance across multiple domains.
  • Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using advanced analytics and statistical techniques.
  • Design and deliver compelling data visualizations and narratives to influence stakeholders and drive informed decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor analytics teams, fostering continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in data management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align analytics efforts with organizational goals and operational priorities.

What you'll bring:
  • Extensive experience in data analytics, including big data analytics and statistical techniques.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Python libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of data quality management, data profiling, cleansing, and governance standards.
  • Ability to translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Expertise in data architecture, data strategy, and business intelligence tools to support decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills to present insights and influence stakeholders effectively.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. Option 3: 6 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
1 year's supervisory experience.
