Note:
This position requires 5 days a week onsite presence in Fremont/Bay Area, CA. Candidates must be willing to work from the office. We are considering local candidates and those who are willing to relocate to the client location.
This position does not support remote work. Only candidates who can work onsite will be considered.
Job Description:
- 10-15 years of SAP GTS experience
- Hands on experience working on SAP GTS E4H implementation, upgrade, development and support in compliance management (SPL Screening, Embargo, Legal control- Export licensing), customs management(US export declaration) and product classifications(Legal control & customs)
- 3-5 Implementation/ Upgrade or transformation project experience in SAP GTS integrated with ECC/ S4 HANA(feeder system).
- Knowledge and expertise in the configuration and use of the SAP GTS modules -Compliance and Customs Management for US and EU.
- Hands on experience in GTS integration to customs authorities(Direct filing/ Broker filing) for customs communication.
- Hands on experience in GTS integration to data provider DESCARTES – Tariff codes, Sanction lists
- Hands on experience in GTS integration to 3rd party non-SAP systems, LSP/ Shippers.
- Familiarity with process controls under GTS compliance checks for Sanctioned Parties Lists, Embargoed countries and export license determination
- Experience in understanding business requirements, designing functional specifications, and collaborate with the development team.
- Experience in working on GTS E4H Fiori apps and developing Fiori based customized solutions.
- Should have Knowledge of global trade regulations, customs procedures and trade compliance requirements
- Should have Knowledge of Trade preference management, special customs procedure and Intrastat.
- Good to have experience and strong knowledge in SAP S4 HANA SAP sales and procurement process.
- Good to have experience in integrating GTS E4H system with EWM and TM systems.
- Good to have knowledge/ experience in AI driven initiatives within GTS environment.
