Project Manager / Coordinator
Position Overview
The Project Manager / Coordinator will support multiple high-visibility Infrastructure & Operations initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This person will work closely with infrastructure, operations, engineering, and leadership teams to organize project plans, coordinate execution activities, manage timelines, and ensure project visibility across stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in environments where priorities shift frequently. This is not a purely administrative PM role — the client is specifically looking for someone willing to roll up their sleeves, drive follow-through, and actively manage tasks, dependencies, and communications across teams.
This is a hybrid onsite position requiring 3 days per week onsite in Minnetonka, MN.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage multiple Infrastructure & Operations projects simultaneously.
- Support enterprise initiatives including: Data center migrations, Security and audit projects, Enterprise tool and platform transitions, Application and infrastructure migrations,
- Break down complex technical projects into: Structured task lists, Milestones, Prioritized workflows, Actionable deliverables
- Track project progress, timelines, dependencies, risks, and action items.
- Coordinate meetings, status updates, and cross-functional communication.
- Drive accountability across technical teams and ensure deliverables remain on track.
- Assist with cutover planning, migration coordination, and execution activities.
- Identify project blockers, risks, and dependencies and escalate appropriately.
- Translate technical discussions into business-friendly communication and status reporting.
- Maintain project documentation including: Meeting notes, Action items, Status reports, Executive summaries, Project plans
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Operations, Security, and Engineering teams.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, changing requirements, and evolving business needs.
- Push for clarity, ownership, and follow-through from stakeholders and technical teams.
- Support directors and leadership teams by improving project organization and execution visibility.
Required Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles.
- Background supporting IT, Infrastructure, Operations, or Application SDLC initiatives.
- Proven ability to organize complex workstreams into detailed task lists and manageable deliverables.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and driving project accountability.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable working hands-on in project execution rather than strictly delegating tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to ask strong clarifying questions and work effectively with technical teams.
- Experience managing projects in environments with shifting priorities and evolving requirements.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration across teams.
- Must be located in Minnesota and able to work onsite in Minnetonka 3 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid delivery models.
- Experience supporting: Infrastructure projects, Data center migrations, Security or audit initiatives, Platform or tool transitions
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
- Exposure to dependency tracking, cutover planning, and migration coordination.
- Experience creating executive-level status updates and project reporting.
- IT infrastructure or technical operations exposure is highly preferred.
