Summary:
The Senior Project Manager will support Electric Operations tools and application initiatives, including participation in GIS (Elevate) design and modernization workshops. This role gathers and synthesizes complex operational and technical information into clear, executive-ready insights for leadership. The position acts as a key liaison between Electric Operations, IT, and program teams, ensuring alignment, effective communication, and informed decision-making.
The role also supports process improvement initiatives by documenting end-to-end workflows, aligning processes across normal and outage/restoration conditions, and improving visibility, consistency, and communication of completed field work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project and process improvement initiatives across Electric Operations
- Translate complex data into concise narratives, visuals, and recommendations
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, IT, Program teams)
- Apply traditional project management skills to address evolving challenges
- Lead multi-year, high-visibility projects with risk management responsibility
- Provide executive-level presentations and reporting
- Mentor and guide junior project managers
- Resolve conflicts and champion best practices
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong project and process improvement experience
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to synthesize technical and operational information
- Experience managing complex, large-scale projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent education/experience
- 8+ years of project management experience (9+ years for external hires)
- PMP certification required
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $95.00 - $105.00 per hour.
