Release Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Release Manager in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities:
* Release Manager will plan, coordinate, and manage technology releases across multiple applications and teams
* Develop release schedules, deployment plans, and readiness checkpoints to support successful delivery
* Facilitate release planning, status meetings, readiness reviews, and stakeholder communications
* Identify, track, and mitigate release risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers
* Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of production deployments
* As a Release Manager, you will monitor release activities, manage escalations, and support post-release validation efforts
* Prepare release metrics, dashboards, and executive-level status updates
* Drive continuous improvement of release management processes, governance, automation, and operational stability

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in Release Management, Program Management, Production Support, or a related field
* Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional technology initiatives and software releases
* Experience managing project timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications
* Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
* Strong understanding of release management, change management, and deployment processes
* Proficiency with project management, collaboration, and reporting tools
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Excellent communication and facilitation abilities across technical and business teams
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Experience within regulated industries or large enterprise environments is a plus
* PMP, Agile, or related certifications are preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
