Senior Application Developer / Atlassian Solutions Engineer with deep expertise in Atlassian (Jira & Confluence), Identity & Access Management (IAM), and enterprise application development. This individual will lead Atlassian Cloud migration efforts, develop custom solutions, modernize enterprise applications, and provide technical leadership across cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Jira and Confluence migrations from Data Center to Atlassian Cloud.
Design, develop, and maintain highly customized Jira and Confluence solutions.
Administer Jira Data Center, Confluence Data Center, and Atlassian Cloud environments.
Develop custom applications and integrations using Java, JavaScript, Azure, and Atlassian tools.
Serve as the technical lead for Identity & Access Management (IAM), including:
o Single Sign-On (SSO)
o Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
o Active Directory
o LDAP
o Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Apply software updates, security patches, and platform upgrades.
Integrate Atlassian products with enterprise applications and business systems.
Support application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
Lead technical planning, documentation, testing, implementation, and mentor junior team members.
Troubleshoot complex application and platform issues.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of enterprise application development experience.
10+ years designing, developing, and supporting custom Jira solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with:
o Jira Data Center & Atlassian Cloud
o Confluence Data Center & Atlassian Cloud
o Jira/Confluence Cloud migrations
o Atlassian Forge
o Atlassian SDK
o JQL
o Plugin development
o Workflow and permissions configuration
Strong development experience with:
o Java
o JavaScript
o HTML
o SQL / SQL Managed Instance
o Azure App Services
o Azure DevOps
Strong IAM experience including SSO, MFA, Active Directory, LDAP, and RBAC.
