Job Details
We are seeking a junior or mid-level corporate associate to join a dynamic and growing business law practice. This role offers early hands-on experience across a wide range of corporate matters, including transactional work and day-to-day client advisory. You will work closely with experienced attorneys and gain meaningful exposure to deals, client relationships, and strategic business issues.
Responsibilities
Support mergers, acquisitions, and sales of businesses from diligence through closing
Assist with corporate structuring, reorganizations, and entity management
Draft and review commercial agreements and transactional documents
Advise clients on corporate governance and operational matters
Participate in due diligence and transaction execution
Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex matters
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in corporate or business law
Exposure to transactional work such as M&A, financings, or general corporate matters
Strong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
Admission to Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island bar (or ability to obtain within 6-12 months)
Experience drafting contracts and transactional documents
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Interest in developing a broad-based corporate practice
Exposure to private equity or sponsor-side work is a plus
