We are seeking a Senior Natural/ADABAS Developer to join the development and support team. The role involves supporting, enhancing, and maintaining the statewide Child Support System (METSS). Responsibilities include integrating systems across platforms and automating existing processes using modern technologies.

• 10+ years of experience in Natural programming & ADABAS

• Experience running Natural processes in batch (JCL/SCL) and online

• 2+ years of experience in analysis, design, and development of large-scale Linux systems

• 4+ years of experience with automated child support systems

• 3+ years providing system architecture expertise

• 3+ years providing system/process enhancement recommendations

• 3+ years in documentation (procedures, policies, processes)

• 3+ years of end-user training experience

• 2+ years knowledge of child support policies & federal/state mandates

• 2+ years experience implementing mandates in Linux-based systems (e.g., METSS)

• Operating Systems:

  • Windows (Advanced Required)

  • Linux (Intermediate Preferred)

• Programming:

  • Natural (Advanced Required)

  • Natural One (SAG Designer) Preferred

  • Web Services/API Preferred

• Database:

  • ADABAS (Advanced Required)

• Testing:

  • Unit Testing (Advanced Required)

• Strong communication (written & verbal)

• Presentation and facilitation skills

• Ability to work independently and in teams

• Problem-solving and analytical thinking

• Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies

• Experience with Jira

• Ability to handle multiple projects

• Experience modernizing legacy systems
