Compensation: $96.00/hr on W2
Fulltime ; W2 candidate only . 
Duration: 3+ Months (High likelihood of extension / Perm conversion)

Position Overview
Seeking an enterprise-grade Senior Pega Administrator with strong application development skills to support, optimize, and enhance large-scale Pega environments for Apple. This role requires a balance of platform infrastructure administration, performance tuning, and hands-on Pega application development.

Key Responsibilities
* Pega Platform Administration: Manage, configure, and administer multi-tier Pega PRPC environments (Dev, QA, Prod) to ensure high availability, platform security, and optimal performance tuning.
* Upgrades & Deployment Governance: Execute systematic Pega system upgrades, hotfix patching, active node monitoring, schema updates, and automated product code deployments.
* Hands-on Pega Development: Code and configure core application components, focusing on complex Case Management design, relational Data Modeling, and secure multi-system integrations (REST/SOAP API connectors/services).
* Diagnostics & Log Analysis: Perform deep-dive troubleshooting, database query optimization, system log parsing (PELS/Pega alerts), PAL usage analysis, and pre-production performance profiling.
* DevOps & CI/CD Automation: Maintain and optimize deployment automation workflows by integrating Pega delivery tools with Jenkins, Git, and underlying cloud/on-prem server architectures (Linux, Tomcat/WebSphere).
* Modern Architecture Blueprinting: Drive platform optimization by leveraging newer Pega design models, including Pega Constellation UI frameworks and Pega Customer Service (CS) implementation layers.

Required Skillset
* Experience: 6–10 years of professional IT experience split between dedicated Pega Administration and active Application Development.
* Core Pega Frameworks: Exhaustive hands-on knowledge of Pega PRPC platform architecture, rule-resolution engines, background processing (Job Schedulers/Queue Processors), and compliance guardrails.
* Development Competency: Proven capability building end-to-end Pega workflows, transactional data transforms, and external enterprise API integrations.
* Platform Infrastructure: Strong foundational understanding of hosting environments, featuring Linux OS commands, app server operations (Tomcat or WebSphere), and relational database configurations.
