Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Red Hat Certified OpenShift Consultant with deep expertise in Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) to support a direct client engagement. This role requires strong hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing OpenShift environments across bare metal and hybrid cloud infrastructures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on networking, virtualization, and cluster lifecycle management, along with the ability to work in complex, enterprise-grade environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift clusters in enterprise environments
• Perform bare metal installations using Redfish, Virtual Media, and Assisted Installer
• Work with Hybrid Cloud Console, Agent-based & Assisted Installer
• Manage multi-cluster environments using OpenShift ACM
• Implement and manage OpenShift Virtualization (including MTV)
• Handle VM and container workloads lifecycle management
• Configure and troubleshoot OpenShift networking, including:
• OVS bridges, Linux bridges
• VLAN configuration
• Cluster communication and port requirements
• Manage storage networking, including iSCSI integrations
• Implement authentication and RBAC, including integrations with Okta or similar IdPs
• Deploy and manage applications using GitOps and Helm
• Handle OpenShift Operators lifecycle management
• Set up and manage observability solutions (logging, monitoring, alerting)
• Perform cluster upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and platform issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift (preferred/required)
• Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Proven experience with Advanced Cluster Management (ACM)
• Expertise in bare metal OpenShift deployments
• Strong networking background (critical for this role)
• Experience with OpenShift Virtualization (KubeVirt, MTV)
• Knowledge of storage solutions (iSCSI, etc.)
• Experience with GitOps tools and Helm
• Strong understanding of RBAC and authentication integrations (Okta preferred)
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Ability to work independently in a remote PST time zone environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Prior experience working with enterprise or government clients
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
