Technology COO (TCOO)
Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, cloud-native platforms that enable secure, reliable, and efficient application delivery. In this role, you will work on Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms, implement GitOps-driven CI/CD workflows, and drive automation across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

You will partner closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to enable developer self-service, enforce governance controls, and deliver resilient, production-grade DevSecOps platforms at enterprise scale.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to complex, large-scale DevOps and platform engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
  • Design, implement, and operate cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Build and enable end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles, GitHub Actions, and Harness.
  • Automate microservices deployment across Kubernetes/OpenShift environments, achieving high levels of deployment automation and reliability.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and declarative configuration management using JSON/YAML.
  • Enable platform delivery across Azure and Google Cloud Platform, aligning infrastructure, deployment, and security controls through code.
  • Integrate DevSecOps practices, observability, and pipeline instrumentation to improve visibility, compliance, and mean time to recovery (MTTR).
  • Develop custom automation and tooling using Python, integrating with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning workflows.
  • Establish centralized versioning, release tracking, and deployment visibility to improve governance and audit readiness.
  • Consult and collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, security, and compliance teams to deliver scalable and compliant solutions.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex technical challenges by evaluating multiple factors, including risk, scale, and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, DevOps, or platform engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, consulting, education, training, or military experience.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
  • Experience with Java build systems (Maven and/or Gradle).
  • Experience with deployment orchestration tools (Harness preferred).
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift (OCP).
  • Experience building automation and CI/CD workflows using Python.
  • Experience working in large-scale, regulated environments, with exposure to governance, audits, and compliance controls.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a passion for developer enablement and platform reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with AI or agentic automation frameworks.
  • Kubernetes or DevOps certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Team & Project Context
  • This team delivers DevSecOps automation across the full COO technology portfolio (18 applications).
  • The role will initially focus on one to two applications, starting with OTA Agile to Automation initiatives.
  • Primary responsibilities include CI/CD enablement, deployment orchestration, automation, and quality gates.
  • Tooling is largely in place; success requires the ability to quickly learn and adapt to enterprise-standard tools.
  • Core technologies include GitOps, GitHub Actions, Harness, Maven, Gradle, Python, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Position added due to increasing workload.
Supplier & Submission Requirements
  • All resumes must be submitted through Beeline; submissions outside Beeline will not be reviewed.
  • No direct solicitation of resumes or communication with the hiring manager while the position is open.
