Ideal Candidate Profile: "The SME Turned PM"
Client is looking for a technical specialist rather than a generalist PM. The candidate needs to have deep roots in Risk Management and then transitioned into Program Management.
Experience Level: ~10+ years (The previous contractor had 14 years in Risk).
Industry Background: Big Banking/Financial Services is a must.
Methodology: Must be "bilingual" in Waterfall and Scaled Agile (SAFe). Core Responsibilities & Project Focus
The PM will manage governance, policy standards, and tech enhancements handled by 3rd party teams.
System Enhancements: Currently upgrading Risk Management systems (PRCI, RCSA, Monitoring & Testing).
Inventory Management: Managing inventories for Risk Controls and processes.
Line of Defense: Strong understanding of 1st Line vs. 2nd Line of defense and QA/CT testing. Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills (The "Must-Haves")
Risk Frameworks: RCSA (Risk & Control Self-Assessment), CSA, PRCI, Risk Monitoring, and Testing.
Project Tools: Proficiency in Clarity and Broadcom (Nice to have, not required).
Certifications (The "Nice-to-Haves")
PMP (Project Management Professional)
Scaled Agile Certification (SAFe)
