Narrative Description of Position

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will provide functional and technical analysis support for PeopleSoft Financials, working closely with the existing PeopleSoft team, business stakeholders, and technical developers.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements and document business/system needs
Translate functional needs into technical specifications
Support system design, configuration, and testing activities
Perform impact analysis for system changes, enhancements, and upgrades across HRMS and Financial modules
Support defect triage and resolution (root cause analysis, coordination with developers)
Create and execute test plans and test scripts
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Validate data integrity and support integrations/interfaces
Assist with reporting and query development (PS Query, SQL)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business processes with system functionality
Maintain documentation (requirements, process flows, technical specs)
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices

Minimum Requirements

Education: B.S. or B.A. Degree
Experience: 10+ years as a PeopleSoft BSA on PeopleSoft Financials
Certification: Degree in Computer Science or related field

Desired Specifications

Experience in Public Sector as a BSA on PeopleSoft Finance Applications
Experience with ticketing systems, team collaboration, and production support updates
Ability to work independently in a hybrid telework/office environment
