Business Analyst

Our client seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join the Application Services team.

Tasks:

·        Under supervision, conducts business process analyses and needs assessments to align information technology solutions with the business initiatives.

·        Supports analytical functions by assisting programmers in ascertaining user needs and adapting user procedures to final program design.

·        Organizes and facilitates application testing and user acceptance to ensure business community’s needs are met.

·        Acts as second and third level support for Production incidents

·        Facilitate troubleshooting, both internally and externally with vendors, and close out of reported issues for multiple applications.

·        Utilizes current county-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

·        Able to multi-task, working on multiple projects and internal initiatives, inclusive of upgrades, maintenance, and enhancements.

·        Self-starter, critical thinking team player possessing both general technical knowledge and interpersonal skills.

Environment: Azure DevOps, MS Visio, Microsoft 365 Services, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Agile Methodologies

NOTE: Local candidates or willing to relocate to Waterford, MI at your own expense. Hybrid work environment; onsite 2 days a week.  An onsite interview may be required.

Contract: 1+ years

Skills Required:

4+ years of experience in the following:

·        Experienced in implementing process re-engineering, developing business requirements, use cases and test scripts using industry accepted practices.

·        Experience conducting business process analysis and needs assessments

·        Possess high level understanding of information technology concepts as well as the SDLC methodology.

·        Experience organizing and facilitating application testing and user acceptance testing

Skills Desired – A plus to have:

·        Salesforce experience

·        Experience with Azure DevOps
