ERP/CRM Salesforce Consultant

Description

We are looking for an ERP/CRM Salesforce Consultant to join a Contract engagement in Chicago, Illinois. This role is suited for a Salesforce Revenue Cloud specialist who can shape a consistent data framework, strengthen governance practices, and evaluate quote-to-cash information across products, pricing, orders, contracts, and assets. The consultant will work across complex Salesforce environments to improve data accuracy, uncover revenue leakage risks, and support reliable business processes through strong functional and technical insight.

Responsibilities:
Define and refine a unified data model across Salesforce Revenue Cloud and related revenue lifecycle processes to support consistent business operations.
Review product, pricing, and monetization structures to ensure accurate setup of catalog elements, pricing logic, and discounting behavior.
Analyze quotes, orders, contracts, and asset records to confirm data integrity and alignment throughout the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
Map standard and custom fields across configuration, pricing, quoting, ordering, contracting, and asset management processes.
Investigate amendment, renewal, and subscription activity by tracking asset history, state changes, and source records tied to lifecycle events.
Establish data governance guidelines and quality controls to identify duplicate records, missing relationships, lineage issues, and orphaned data.
Assess how automated updates and manual interventions affect Salesforce data, including flows, pricing engines, integrations, and other platform automations.
Partner with stakeholders to document business requirements and translate them into practical recommendations for Salesforce configuration and process improvement.

Requirements

Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced and Revenue Lifecycle Management, including underlying data structures and object relationships.
Strong understanding of product catalog design, including products, selling models, categories, attributes, and related components.
Hands-on expertise with pricing frameworks such as price books, pricing tiers, adjustment schedules, discounts, and pricing rules.
Proven experience working with transaction management records, including quotes, quote lines, orders, order items, contracts, and assets.
Ability to evaluate standard and custom field mappings across the full revenue lifecycle within Salesforce ecosystems.
Skilled in data profiling, quality analysis, relationship mapping, and tracing data lineage to resolve inconsistencies.
Familiarity with Salesforce development concepts such as API development, configuration management, client-side scripting, and platform-based automation.
