Location: Lake Mary, FL (Hybrid Locals ONLY)
Duration: Contract to Hire

- Transformation title not required Ideal candidate has driven process improvements, modern SDLC practices, or operational efficiency.
- Legacy modernization experience required. Must have hands-on experience moving legacy systems to modern platforms.
- Enterprise mindset required. Candidates must approach technology decisions with business value and governance in mind.
- Please do not target architects. This role leads delivery and oversees technical teams not architecture design.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Seeking an IT Modernization Delivery Lead to own day-to-day delivery execution, lead SDLC transformation, and drive the modernization of legacy technology platforms across the organization.
The right candidate provides hands-on team oversight, leads from the front, brings enterprise discipline, and delivers measurable results.
RESPONSIBILITIES Delivery Oversight & Operational Leadership
- Own end-to-end delivery execution keep teams aligned, accountable, and on track.
- Establish structured cadences, escalation paths, and operational discipline across technical teams.
- Eliminate operational friction to improve delivery speed, efficiency, and output quality.
- Lead in real time present in the work, not managing from a distance.
SDLC Transformation & Process Improvement
- Modernize how software gets built and delivered replace outdated processes with current frameworks, tooling, and scalable practices.
- Define and enforce clear development standards, delivery milestones, and quality checkpoints across teams.
- Build a team culture rooted in continuous improvement, accountability, and delivery discipline.
- Apply AI-driven efficiencies and automation to accelerate delivery and cut manual overhead.
Legacy System Modernization
- Drive the full transition of legacy systems to modern platforms from assessment through adoption.
- Partner with business and IT leadership to prioritize modernization initiatives by business value and strategic fit.
- Apply enterprise discipline to every technology investment decision ensure every effort delivers measurable value.
- Keep teams executing through complexity and ambiguity with clear direction and decisive leadership.
AI Enablement & Data Innovation
- Identify where AI, machine learning, and data platforms can improve delivery and business outcomes.
- Integrate AI-powered solutions automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent applications into current workflows.
- Align data practices with modernization and AI adoption goals alongside data and analytics teams.
- Enforce governance standards and ethical data practices across all AI initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience leading technology modernization or operational transformation at the enterprise level.
- Must have current, hands-on experience working with .NET.
- Hands-on experience transitioning legacy systems to modern platforms.
- Proven depth in SDLC transformation, modern delivery frameworks, and development process improvement.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe delivery frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern development tooling.
- Enterprise mindset evaluates technology investments through the lens of business value, governance, and organizational discipline.
- Working knowledge of AI tools, automation platforms, or data-driven delivery practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud in a modernization context deep cloud or architecture expertise is not required.
- Proven ability to align technical and business stakeholders around shared priorities and delivery outcomes.
