The role requires a strong SAP S/4 migration Project Manager who can work through the assessment details already completed by SAP and help build the migration business case for executive leadership review.
SAP has already completed multiple S/4 assessments and work sessions. The client is also currently working through STAR, DMLT, and ICCM assessments.
The Project Manager should have broad SAP S/4 migration experience, as there will be no time to train the person except on the client’s SDLC, business processes, and technology stack.
The role will involve working closely with the business team, Basis team, and development team to support the business case, roadmap, and dashboards for the S/4 migration program.
Strong communication, professionalism, and stakeholder management are critical. The engagement is expected to run for at least six months and can start immediately.
Technical Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA Transformation
We are looking for a senior Technical Project Manager for a large SAP S/4HANA transformation program involving migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. The ideal candidate should possess strong SAP transformation experience with the ability to effectively manage business, technology, and client stakeholders across complex enterprise programs.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation initiatives end-to-end.
• Drive program execution across technical, functional, and business workstreams.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, leadership teams, system integrators, and delivery teams.
• Identify transformation risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans proactively.
• Facilitate transformation discussions and support decision-making across business and IT teams.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, SAP capabilities, and program execution.
• Manage governance, stakeholder communication, program tracking, and escalation management.
Required Experience & Skills
• Strong hands-on SAP background with deep understanding of ECC to S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Experience managing at least 2–3 large-scale SAP or digital transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and transformation impact across functions.
• Proven experience in technical project/program management within complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership interaction skills.
• Ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.
• Strong risk management, execution governance, and delivery management capabilities.

Summary Profile

Candidates with IS-Retail transformation experience will be highly preferred.
