Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Software Engineer II to design, develop, and support complex business applications and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will perform systems analysis, application development, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze, design, develop, and maintain complex applications and system enhancements.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and debugging.
  • Prepare technical specifications, project estimates, and system documentation.
  • Coordinate with development, operations, and business teams to deliver solutions.
  • Support production applications and recommend process or technology improvements.
  • Lead or mentor junior team members on project-related activities.
  • Ensure adherence to development standards, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree with 5+ years of application development experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong experience with Mainframe technologies, including:
    • COBOL
    • CICS
    • JCL
  • Experience with systems analysis, application design, and implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet delivery timelines.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Banking or financial services experience.
  • Knowledge of enterprise application frameworks and integrated systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience driving project milestones and implementing system improvements.
