<>Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry to support data-driven initiatives across clinical, commercial, and research operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and database skills, experience working with regulated datasets, and the ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights.

<>Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret large volumes of clinical, commercial, and scientific data using statistical methods and programming tools.
  • Design and enhance data collection, reporting, and analytical processes to improve operational efficiency and data quality.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize databases and reporting environments while ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Partner with business users and cross-functional teams to identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies within regulated environments.
  • Perform data quality checks, validation, cleansing, and integrity assessments for imported and existing datasets.
  • Manage the lifecycle of business datasets, including creation, maintenance, archival, and retirement activities.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and analytical summaries to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Support enterprise data warehouse initiatives, metadata management, and data governance activities.
  • Assist with testing, implementation, and validation of new reporting tools, software enhancements, and analytics platforms.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues, evaluate source system changes, and ensure seamless integration with downstream reporting processes.
  • Provide technical guidance on data modeling, storage, mining, and transformation techniques.
  • Deliver user training and documentation for reporting tools and dashboards while promoting best practices in data management.

<>Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences datasets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze structured and complex datasets and deliver meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

<>Preferred Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data science, or data warehousing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Python.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, Qlik, SQL Developer, or Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge of Entity-Relationship (ER) modeling and relational database design.
  • Familiarity with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured healthcare or pharmaceutical data, including clinical records, safety data, commercial datasets, and research information.
  • Understanding of data governance, normalization, compliance, and quality assurance practices within regulated environments.
