Role: SAP Business Analyst
Location: Reno, NV (Onsite-5 days)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst to analyze, document, and improve end-to-end intercompany processes across products, field service labor, expense recharges, project system labor, and intercompany loans. The analyst will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, Field Service, and IT teams to identify process gaps, define business requirements, and support the design and implementation of standardized SAP solutions that reduce manual work, improve accounting accuracy, and accelerate month-end close.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops with business and technical stakeholders to document current-state processes, pain points, manual workarounds, and business requirements.
• Develop process flows, business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze SAP intercompany processes covering sales orders, purchase orders, intercompany invoices, debit memos, transfer pricing, and drop shipments.
• Evaluate service labor charging and settlement processes, including ServiceMax-to-SAP integration and automatic intercompany postings.
• Analyze expense recharge policies, markups, accruals, materiality thresholds, true-ups, and month-end close requirements.
• Review SAP Project System settlement rules, project templates, labor allocations, and accounting destinations.
• Work with Finance and SAP functional teams to assess FI/CO, SD, MM, and PS integration requirements.
• Identify master data and pricing gaps, including missing transfer prices, incorrect partner data, and incomplete commercial invoice information.
• Define business rules, validation controls, exception handling, and reporting requirements.
• Support solution design, functional testing, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and user training.
• Develop process documentation, operating procedures, and recommendations for automation and continuous improvement.
• Help quantify transaction volumes, financial exposure, process delays, and the impact of existing manual workarounds.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst or SAP Functional Analyst.
• Strong experience in SAP intercompany processes and cross-functional business process analysis.
• Working knowledge of SAP FI/CO, SD, and MM; experience with SAP Project System (PS) is highly desirable.
• Understanding of intercompany accounting, transfer pricing, invoicing, cost allocations, and financial reconciliation.
• Experience conducting requirements workshops, documenting business processes, and translating requirements into functional specifications.
• Experience with process mapping, gap analysis, test scenarios, UAT, and defect management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Experience with Servicemax or another field service management platform integrated with SAP.
• Knowledge of intercompany labor charging, expense recharges, project settlement, fixed assets, and month-end close.
• Exposure to EDI/API integrations, automated pricing, invoice output determination, and intercompany reporting.
• Experience supporting global or multi-entity organizations and complex intercompany transaction flows.
