Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the Financial Services, Banking, Payments, or Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale programs, driving strategic initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of business and technology projects while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program management for multiple concurrent projects within the financial services domain.
- Define program scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, and vendors to deliver strategic initiatives.
- Manage program governance, risk management, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
- Drive Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Monitor project milestones, KPIs, and program performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, security standards, and internal governance policies.
- Coordinate dependency management across multiple workstreams and teams.
- Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, steering committee reviews, and decision-making sessions.
- Support digital transformation, modernization, cloud migration, and process improvement initiatives.
- Manage change management, user adoption, and communication plans.
- 10+ years of project/program management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, Payments, Insurance, FinTech, or Capital Markets.
- Strong understanding of financial products, transaction processing, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Experience managing large enterprise programs ($1M+ budgets preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and SDLC methodologies.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
