Must-have skills

• Oracle MICROS Simphony POS – 3+ years.

• POS configuration and EMC administration.

• Workstation 6 / Workstation 8 troubleshooting.

• Printer, cash drawer, and card reader connectivity.

• Networking: DNS, VPN, firewall, port listing.

• Payment terminal integration and EMV.

• API/integration log troubleshooting.

• Incident management and vendor coordination.

Preferred skills

• Adyen payment gateway.

• eThor, Clover, Vertex integrations.

• ServiceNow / Jira Service Management.

• Postman, REST APIs, JSON.

• Simphony STS Gen2 API.

• PCI compliance.

• International restaurant/store deployments.

Ideal candidate profile

An L2/L3 POS Support Engineer with strong hands-on Oracle MICROS Simphony experience, supporting multi-location restaurant or hospitality environments.

The candidate must be capable of handling both L2 hardware/network troubleshooting and L3 root-cause analysis, API integrations, payment issues, and third-party vendor escalations.
