Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Pricing, Rating, Underwriting, Property & Casualty (P&C), and Insurance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing complex projects that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation in our insurance operations. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of insurance principles, particularly in P&C lines, and hands-on experience in pricing strategies and rating methodologies. The Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Strong analytical skills combined with leadership abilities are essential to navigate the intricacies of underwriting processes and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with actuarial, underwriting, IT, and business units to implement solutions that enhance product offerings and optimize operational workflows. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end insurance projects focusing on Pricing, Rating, and Underwriting processes.
  • Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, product development, and IT teams to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and business teams to align objectives and expectations.
  • Oversee the implementation of pricing and rating models to support P&C insurance products.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout project lifecycle.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and provide regular status updates to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the insurance industry, specifically in P&C lines.
  • Strong knowledge of Pricing, Rating methodologies, and Underwriting principles in insurance.
  • Familiarity with insurance technologies, including rating engines and underwriting systems.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent software.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into actionable project plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and organizational abilities.
