Senior Systems Analyst 4 – Epic Tapestry
Location: Remote – Candidates anywhere in the U.S. (Lower 48 States)
Travel: Quarterly travel to Boise, ID – Fully Expensed
Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MST
Contract: 6 Months, with potential for extension
Rate: $55/hr target
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst 4 – Epic Tapestry to support enterprise healthcare applications and complex payer/health plan workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Epic Tapestry Enrollment & Eligibility, Medicare Advantage, CMS file exchange, Letter Build, and Auto Action Build.
This is a senior-level role requiring the ability to independently analyze business requirements, configure and implement application solutions, troubleshoot complex production issues, support testing and upgrades, and collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and design scalable solutions within Epic Tapestry.
Build, configure, and optimize Enrollment & Eligibility workflows.
Support CMS file exchange, Letter Build, and Auto Action Build activities.
Configure and implement application enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality.
Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and provide timely resolution.
Plan and execute application testing, validation, and end-user acceptance activities.
Analyze healthcare/operational workflows and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Support Medicare Advantage enrollment and eligibility processes.
Understand how enrollment and eligibility changes impact Premium Billing.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, testing documentation, and end-user support materials.
Participate in project planning, Agile activities, status reporting, and implementation efforts.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, application teams, and technical teams.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other team members.
Required Qualifications
Epic Tapestry Certification – REQUIRED
Strong hands-on experience with Tapestry Enrollment & Eligibility
Experience with CMS File Exchange
Hands-on experience with Letter Build
Hands-on experience with Auto Action Build
Strong Medicare Advantage experience
Experience with application testing, validation, and troubleshooting
General understanding of Premium Billing and the impact of enrollment/eligibility
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to independently manage complex application issues and projects
Education & Experience
Bachelor''s degree + 6 years of relevant experience, or
Associate degree + 8 years of relevant experience, or
High School Diploma/GED + 10 years of relevant experience
Equivalent relevant experience may be considered based on overall qualifications.
Work Arrangement
100% Remote for qualified candidates located anywhere in the Lower 48 States.
Candidates must be available to work MST hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Quarterly travel to Boise, Idaho may be required. All approved travel expenses—including airfare, hotel, transportation, and meals—will be fully covered.
