Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for performing Scrum Master duties while planning and coordinating the execution of large program deliverables that require engagement across multiple organizations. The successful candidate will ensure delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of target outcomes, timeline, and cost, and will facilitate sync points between business and technology leaders.
Responsibilities: - Facilitate daily standups and other Agile ceremonies as needed
- Protect the team from over-committing and scope creep during iteration/sprint planning meetings
- Aid in estimation and sub-task creation
- Participate in sprint reviews and capture feedback
- Conduct retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and create action items for future sprints
- Serve as the administrator of the scrum board (e.g., Jira), ensuring cards are up to date
- Meet individually with team members and stakeholders as needed to resolve disagreements about process and work styles
- Consult with team members and internal stakeholders on how best to work with the scrum team
- Provide regular analysis of burndown charts and other portfolio planning tools
- Aid the team by eliminating external blockers and managing internal roadblocks through process or workflow improvements
Requirements: - Proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master
- Experience with Change Management

Pay range: $67.46 - $75.46 per hour
