Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing.
The role involves developing automated test scripts, performing comprehensive testing activities, and ensuring application quality through effective defect management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirement/Must Have:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
Strong experience with Karate framework for API testing and Selenium WebDriver for UI testing.
Proficiency in Java or Python.
Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database validation.

Experience:

Experience in automation development and framework enhancement.
Experience in API testing and UI testing for web and mobile applications.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with defect tracking and management tools.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Karate for API testing and Selenium WebDriver for UI testing.
Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, usability, and user acceptance testing.
Enhance automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, document, track, and reproduce software defects.
Review technical design documents and user requirements to create test plans and scenarios.
Perform RESTful API testing, including JSON validation, response verification, and security testing.

Should Have:

Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies.
Familiarity with API testing tools and defect tracking systems.

Skills:

Automation testing frameworks and tools.
API and UI testing.
SQL and database validation.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Collaboration and communication.

Qualification And Education:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
