Automation Tester (W2 Contract Position & In-person Interview)

URGENT REQUIREMENT

Automation Tester

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: 12+ Months

Onsite W2 Position and In-person Interview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand an automated regression suite of 2,000+ test scripts built on a custom Java/Selenium framework
• Develop and write automation scripts for complex business rules and rules engines
• Utilize Jenkins and TestNG to support CI/CD pipeline integration
• Perform mobile testing and contribute to mobile automation efforts
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation across multiple data sources using DB2
• Collaborate within an Agile development environment
• Apply version control best practices using Git/GitHub or IBM RTC

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering - Substitution: Master's degree in a qualifying field + 1 year of relevant experience
• 5+ years of progressive software application testing experience, including at least 3 years testing complex or highly complex software systems
• 2+ years of current, hands-on experience developing automation frameworks and scripts using Selenium (Java)
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and scripting automation for complex business rules
• Experience in mobile testing

Technical Skills

• Core Java coding (required record/playback or script execution only is not sufficient)
• Selenium WebDriver
• SQL queries for data validation
• CI/CD processes using Jenkins
• TestNG
• Version control: Git/GitHub or IBM RTC

Preferred Qualifications

• Mobile Automation Testing experience using Appium, or cloud-based platforms such as LambdaTest, Sauce Labs, or BrowserStack
• Familiarity with DB2, EDI formats (834, 837), SOAP UI, Rational Quality Manager, and/or UiPath
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Domain knowledge in Healthcare, Medicaid, or Medicare
