Description: RemoteOur client seeks an Operational Reinsurance Leader to direct end-to-end reinsurance operations across a complex multi-entity platform. The role focuses on treaty and facultative administration, bordereaux processing, data ingestion and reconciliation, and settlements with cedants and brokers. The leader will partner with Finance, Accounting, Claims, Underwriting, and Risk to ensure accurate reporting, sound controls, and scalable processes. The position requires deep reinsurance operations expertise and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities: - Lead the day to day execution of reinsurance operational processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and strong internal controls.
- Oversee operational workflows supporting treaty and facultative reinsurance programs, including coordination with underwriting, claims, finance, and brokers.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for reinsurance operations, advising internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Partner closely with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate booking, reconciliation, and reporting of reinsurance balances, including ceded premiums, commissions, recoverables, and settlements.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes related to reinsurance activity.
Experience Requirements: - 10+ years of experience in reinsurance operations, reinsurance accounting, or insurance finance.
- Hands-on expertise across treaty and facultative execution, bordereaux processing, claims and recoverables, and settlements.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, close processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience operating in complex, highly regulated, multi-entity environments.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field required
Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) a plus
