Key ResponsibilitiesDesktop & End-User Support- Install, configure, and support Windows 11, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other standard enterprise applications
- Troubleshoot and support desktop and laptop hardware, including monitors, docking stations, keyboards, and peripherals
- Provide iOS and mobile device support, including connectivity, configuration, and app troubleshooting
- Support networked and locally connected printers
PC & Equipment Deployment- Acquire PCs and conference room equipment from warehouse locations
- Securely stage, image, build, and deploy equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Average workload includes:
- 30-40 PC builds per month per technician
- ~10 conference room support incidents per month
- ~30 staff moves/replacements per month
Conference Room & AV Support- Set up and troubleshoot conference room technologies including:
- Widescreen TVs, projectors, docking systems
- Video conferencing systems (e.g., Polycom)
- Provide on-site support for conference room connectivity and audio/visual issues
General Services- Hardware and software installs, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Hardware moves and replacements
- Service Desk incident and request support
- Data entry and documentation of work performed
- Special projects, inventory management, and e-waste handling
Incident Response Expectations- Severity 1 (High):
- Call back within 15 minutes
- On-site within 2 hours
- Resolution target: 1 hour
- Severity 2 (Medium):
- Call back within 30 minutes
- On-site within 4 hours
- Resolution target: 2 hours
- Severity 3 (Low):
- Call back within 60 minutes
- On-site within 6 hours
- Resolution target: 3 hours
- Late-day issues may be scheduled for the next business day if approved
Required Skills & Qualifications- Hands-on experience supporting Windows desktop environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
- Experience supporting hardware peripherals and enterprise printers
- Working knowledge of iOS/mobile device support
- Basic understanding of conference room AV systems
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of users
- Comfortable performing physical work:
- Working under tables
- Using ladders
- Lifting up to 60 pounds
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety practices
Nice to Have- CompTIA A+ or equivalent technical certification
- Prior enterprise or field-based desktop support experience
Work Environment- Team of 4 technicians statewide
- Oahu site supported by 2 technicians
- Fully on-site role (no remote work)
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Hilo, HI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
