Designer II/III- Design Systems

Job Overview:
We are seeking Design System Designers (Level II or Level III) to support a high-performing design systems team responsible for scalable digital experiences across web and native mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
In this role, you will collaborate with designers, developers, researchers, and product partners to build and maintain reusable design components, patterns, and standards that support digital product experiences. The position contributes to research, ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery of design system solutions within a data-informed, agile environment.
This role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to translate human-centered design principles into scalable system components.
Key Responsibilities
Designer II
Identify and document business problems to help shape solutions for moderately complex cross-functional projects
Participate in human-centered design sessions and contribute ideas to cross-functional discussions
Collaborate with product, engineering, and research partners to deliver scalable design system components
Contribute to design activities across the lifecycle including discovery, concepting, prototyping, and implementation
Create and document design assets, specifications, and system guidelines
Support user-focused research and help synthesize findings into actionable design improvements
Participate in critiques and design reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback
Ensure designs follow usability, accessibility, and compliance standards
Designer III
Support the identification and documentation of business problems to inform design solutions
Assist in design system workstreams from discovery through implementation
Create design artifacts, prototypes, and supporting documentation
Apply foundational knowledge of interaction design, visual design, and content design principles
Participate in research activities and contribute to insights that guide design decisions
Attend design critiques and reviews to build design systems expertise
Ensure design activities align with risk management and compliance standards
Required Skills & Experience
Designer II
2+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX Design, or Service Design
Experience delivering design systems for web and native applications
Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with:
Design systems
Style guides
Component libraries
Digital product design
Experience working in cross-functional design and development environments
Proficiency with modern design tools and collaboration platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of information architecture, usability, and accessibility best practices
Experience collaborating closely with developers
Designer III
Up to 2 years of professional experience in Product Design, UX Design, Service Design, Design Research, or Production Design
Portfolio demonstrating foundational experience designing digital experiences for web and mobile platforms
Familiarity with design and collaboration tools
Understanding of modern UX practices including:
Mobile patterns
Website navigation
Information architecture
Usability principles
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a team environment
