About the Role
We are seeking a data-driven Project Manager – Funnel Analytics & Optimization to own and enhance the end-to-end customer journey across acquisition, application, underwriting, and funding for a small-business lending portfolio.
This role sits at the intersection of analytics, product, operations, and AI, and is focused on identifying funnel inefficiencies, running experimentation, and driving measurable improvements in conversion, cycle time, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze end-to-end funnel performance to identify conversion trends, drop-offs, and bottlenecks
- Design and maintain analytical frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor funnel health
- Conduct root cause analysis using cohort analysis, segmentation, and behavioral insights
- Lead A/B testing and experimentation initiatives to optimize funnel performance
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Risk, Operations, Product, Engineering, AI) to implement data-driven improvements
- Drive automation and AI-led solutions to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making
- Apply statistical methods to evaluate funnel steps and improve customer conversion rates
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and executive-level recommendations
- Monitor post-implementation performance and track impact on risk, cost, and customer experience
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or product/growth analytics
- Strong experience in funnel analytics, conversion optimization, or customer journey analysis
- Hands-on expertise in A/B testing, experimentation, and statistical analysis
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) with experience handling large datasets
- Experience in fintech, financial services, lending, or banking domains
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional and stakeholder teams
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills in a client-facing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, etc.)
