Job: Hyperion Developer
Location (if onsite/hybrid): Candidates can be fully remote within the US
Expected duration: Par Time (20 HRS) with potential to go Full Time after successful implementation.
Contract Length is 8 months from candidate's start date

EPM cloud implementation experience is required.

Job Description
We are looking for a Hyperion Developer to support ongoing budget preparation, financial planning initiatives, and application support activities for the CTA Budget and Finance Department. This position will be contract and remote.
What You ll Do
Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, financial transactions, and reporting using Hyperion Planning and Reporting applications
Support ongoing financial planning initiatives by ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable system outputs
Administer Hyperion system applications, databases, and security for business users
Evaluate, enhance, and improve existing system functionality to meet evolving budget and reporting needs
Assist with system upgrades, patches, and updates, including evaluating enhancement requests and system modifications
Update and maintain metadata, perform data loads, data migrations, and data validation across environments
Maintain system security, provision users, manage roles and access, and ensure compliance with access controls
Review, update, and maintain business rules and system calculations
Design, update, and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and SmartView reports
Conduct research and financial analysis to support budget development and decision making
Provide functional and technical support to system users within the Budget and Finance Department
Troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve system and data-related problems
Perform other duties as assigned in support of budget and finance operations
What You'll Need
Required:
Experience supporting Hyperion Planning and Reporting applications in a production environment
Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting processes
Experience administering system security, user access, and roles
Hands-on experience with metadata management, data loads, data migrations, and validation
Experience developing and maintaining financial reports, dashboards, and SmartView reports
Ability to provide functional and technical support to business users
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience supporting public sector or transportation-related financial systems
Experience participating in system upgrades and enhancement initiatives
Strong documentation and stakeholder collaboration skills
