Our firm is partnering with a rapidly growing organization in the renewable energy sector, focused on delivering clean, sustainable energy solutions across the U.S. As the business prepares for a high-demand season, we are seeking an Application Support Specialist to join their IT Operations team and help ensure seamless technology support for internal users nationwide.
This role is part of a Technology Application Support team that provides critical support for internal business applications and end users. The Application Support Specialist serves as a front-line technical resource, ensuring employees receive timely, high-quality assistance while larger system issues are diagnosed and resolved. This is a fully remote position with a second-shift schedule and a 12-month initial term.

Job Description
As an Application Support Specialist, you will support internal users by troubleshooting application, software, and system issues while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will collaborate closely with Level 1 and Level 2 support teams, subject matter experts, and cross-functional partners to resolve issues and improve system performance.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Provide first-level technical application support via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems
  • Diagnose and resolve software and application-related issues
  • Escalate complex issues to subject matter experts or leads while maintaining ownership of tickets
  • Assist with the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of business applications
  • Document issues, resolutions, and processes to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance and user experience
  • Deliver professional, customer-focused support to internal stakeholders
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in a technology or application support role, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and/or macOS environments
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and common productivity applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users
  • Customer-first mindset with a commitment to high-quality service
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with IT ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles or frameworks
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Google Administrator, ITIL v4)
