Description
Our client is seeking a Desktop Consultant II to support the Finance & Administration Division's end-user computing environment. This individual will provide hands-on desktop support for Windows and Mac systems, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage tickets through ServiceNow, and deliver exceptional customer service to employees across multiple campus locations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide deskside and remote support for Windows and Mac operating systems.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral issues.
Utilize ServiceNow to manage incidents, service requests, and document resolution efforts.
Support users through remote tools such as BeyondTrust and Remote Desktop.
Administer Active Directory users, computers, security groups, and permissions.
Assist with Group Policy troubleshooting and desktop environment support.
Support device deployment, imaging, software installations, and endpoint management through MECM/SCCM, Intune, and Jamf.
Configure and support enterprise mobile devices, including iPhones and Android devices.
Maintain inventory of computer equipment and coordinate hardware replacements and lifecycle refreshes.
Provide high-touch support for end users, including executive and VIP stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
3-5+ years of desktop support or end-user support experience.
Strong experience supporting Windows operating systems.
Experience with Mac OS support and troubleshooting.
Experience with Active Directory administration.
Experience working within an enterprise ticketing system.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation and an insurable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ServiceNow.
Experience with Intune and MECM/SCCM.
Experience with Jamf.
Experience supporting users in a higher education or large corporate environment.
Experience supporting hybrid and remote workforces.
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule with a minimum of two onsite days per week. Additional onsite support may be required based on business needs.
Supports Finance & Administration staff rather than students or faculty.
Collaborative team environment with opportunities to work independently across multiple campus locations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
