Summary

We are seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist / Contract Specialist to support a federal program in Washington, DC (onsite).

Position: Acquisition Specialist III / Contract Specialist
Location: Washington, DC (Onsite)
Type: Full-time / Long Term Contract


Role Overview

Provide cradle-to-grave federal acquisition support, including both pre-award and post-award activities in compliance with federal procurement regulations.


Required Qualifications

Education & Experience (one required):

  • Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of federal contracting experience
    OR

  • 24 business-related college credits + 7 years of federal contracting experience


Required Experience

  • Full lifecycle federal contracting (cradle-to-grave)

  • Strong knowledge of FAR (Parts 8, 12, 13, 15, 16)

  • BPA, IDIQ, and Task Orders

  • Federal contract vehicles (e.g., GSA MAS, multi-agency vehicles)

  • Preparing acquisition documents (RFP/RFQ, awards, mods, J&A, acquisition plans)

  • Cost/price analysis and negotiation support

  • Source selection and evaluation support

  • Contract writing systems (e.g., PRISM)

  • FPDS, SAM.gov

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Strong communication and analytical skills


Preferred

  • Experience supporting IT-related contracts
