We are seeking a senior-level Quality Assurance Analyst with experience supporting SaaS enterprise financial systems. The ideal candidate would provide functional and technical testing support for financial systems within a SaaS environment and plays a key role in the implementation of a SaaS product ensuring financial processes, integrations, and data are accurately tested and validated. The role collaborates closely with Financial Systems partners to support system quality, data integrity, and compliance throughout the testing lifecycle.
Will be responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing enhancements to a major SaaS platform. Key responsibilities include:
- Execute functional, system, and regression testing for financial systems implemented in a SaaS environment.
- Support testing activities including validation of financial transactions, balances, and reporting outputs.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation testing to ensure accurate financial postings and balances during system conversion and ongoing releases.
- Support integration testing for interfaces between the newly implemented SaaS solution and external enterprise systems, including batch jobs, APIs, and secure file transfers.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working with business users to validate end-to-end financial processes.
- Identify, document, and track defects using approved testing and defect-tracking tools (e.g., Test Savvy or equivalent).
- Collaborate with system analysts, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
- Validate security roles and access controls to ensure appropriate segregation of duties and compliance within organizational standards.
- Maintain complete and accurate test documentation, results, defect records and resolutions in accordance with internal quality and audit requirements.
- Support Agile or hybrid delivery models, including sprint reviews, release readiness, and stabilization activities.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance across multiple testing phases, including unit, system, integration, regression, smoke, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise-scale financial systems (ERP or equivalent).
- 7+ years of experience working in a SaaS-based application environment, including understanding release cycles, regression impacts, and vendor-managed deployments.
- 6+ years of experience supporting system implementations, major upgrades, or large-scale modernization initiatives.
- 6+ years of experience developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- 5+ years of experience using test management and defect-tracking tools, such as Test Savvy or an equivalent enterprise QA platform.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or comparable frameworks), including regression and smoke testing.
- 4+ years of experience performing financial data validation and reconciliation testing, ensuring accuracy of transactions, balances, and reporting outputs.
- 4+ years of strong experience in manual testing techniques, including exploratory testing, edge-case validation, and UAT support.
- 4+ years of proven ability to work independently, provide QA leadership, and collaborate across technical, vendor, and business teams with limited supervision.
Preferred Skills
- 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting or testing CGI Advantage ERP, including financial modules and security roles.
- 4+ years of experience supporting state, local, or federal government financial systems, preferably within treasury or comptroller environments.
- 4+ years of experience supporting USAS replacement or financial system modernization initiatives.
- 4+ years of experience testing financial system integrations, including batch processing, secure file transfers, and API-based interfaces.
- 3+ years of experience validating security roles, access controls, and segregation of duties.
- 2+ years of experience supporting post-go-live stabilization and production releases.
- 2+ years of experience using Power BI or Advantage-native reporting tools for validation of financial reporting outputs.
- 2+ years of experience collaborating directly with vendors in a SaaS delivery model.
