About the Role
We are hiring a Senior UI/UX Frontend Engineer to join our client s engineering team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative technology companies in the U.S. You ll help drive scalable frontend architecture, enhance user experience, and contribute to high-performance web platforms serving a large user base.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- Build and manage application state using modern libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar
- Develop and maintain reusable component libraries and design systems
- Implement component-driven development practices using Storybook
- Architect and develop micro-frontend or module federation-based solutions
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Integrate frontend applications with backend systems using REST and/or GraphQL APIs
- Leverage Next.js features including App Router, Server Components, and SSR strategies
- Collaborate with UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams
- Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing strategies
What We re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX engineering, frontend development, or frontend architecture
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS preferred)
- Experience building large-scale web applications or high-traffic user platforms
- Hands-on experience developing and scaling component libraries/design systems
- Solid understanding of state management tools and frontend architecture patterns
- Experience with Next.js, including SSR and modern rendering strategies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with authentication frameworks such as SSO, OAuth2, or SAML
- Experience building real-time applications using WebSockets or similar technologies
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and distributed systems
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $65.00 $70.00 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
