Location: Juno Beach, Florida (Onsite)

Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a PGD Engineer to apply a diversified knowledge of engineering principles to a broad variety of assignments related to solar power generation. This role involves independent decision-making on engineering issues and processes, with supervision related to high-level objectives. The position will focus on project management, technical analysis, and engineering oversight for utility-scale solar, BESS, and power plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine troubleshooting guides for top fault codes across inverter technologies.
- Build out and maintain a fault code database and Do Not Reset (DNR) lists.
- Utilize AI to create troubleshooting guides and apply engineering principles to synthesize information from datasets.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between the Solar Inverter Fleet Team, ROCC, and CWE, acting independently on technical matters.
- Complete process improvement assignments with general objectives and limitations.
- Interface with individuals and OEMs to address technical matters for individual projects.
- Support component failure rate analysis and the development of work plans.
- Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures at solar sites.
- Provide assistance to field technicians and ROCC operators with troubleshooting inverter and other solar issues.
- Support the development of countermeasures for recurring issues.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required. A Bachelor's degree in another engineering discipline with equivalent experience with electrical systems will be considered.
Experience: 6 to 10 years of experience in engineering. Experience with utility-scale inverters and power electronics is required.
Technical Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2 years of experience with solar inverters.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Previous experience in operations support or control center environments.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $40.00 and $50.00 per hour.
