Program Manager

Description

We are looking for a Program Manager to lead complex technical initiatives for a long-term contract opportunity based in Culver City, California. This role is ideal for someone who can coordinate cross-functional engineering efforts in a media, entertainment, or streaming environment while keeping delivery aligned with business goals. The position requires a strong grasp of technical platforms, release processes, and digital media workflows, along with the ability to guide large-scale deployments from planning through execution.

Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of large technical programs, ensuring milestones, dependencies, and risks are actively managed across engineering teams.
Coordinate closely with software, platform, infrastructure, and DevOps partners to drive execution on platform launches and technical deployment efforts.
Oversee integration activities between systems and applications, with attention to API connectivity, operational readiness, and scalability.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, maintain project tracking in Jira, and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
Support implementation initiatives involving enterprise platforms and cloud-based environments, helping teams stay aligned on scope, timelines, and technical requirements.
Partner with teams responsible for content intake, media processing, metadata handling, and digital distribution to keep delivery plans on track.
Identify program risks early, resolve blockers efficiently, and guide teams through issue mitigation and escalation when needed.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in technical program management overseeing complex engineering or platform-focused initiatives.
Prior work in entertainment, media, or streaming technology environments is required.
Demonstrated success managing platform rollouts, system integrations, implementation efforts, and technical releases.
Strong collaboration experience with software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure organizations.
Working knowledge of system architecture, APIs, CI/CD practices, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with digital media workflows, including content ingestion, encoding, metadata management, and distribution processes.
Experience using Agile delivery methods and project management tools such as Jira; PMP certification is a plus.
