Summary

A global medical technology leader is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join their R&D department focused on new product development for both capital and disposable medical devices. This is a full time position involving advanced hardware design in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams. This role is onsite 4 days per week, 1 day remote.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in developing new products, ideally in the medical device sector
  • Hands-on expertise with schematic design tools (Altium preferred)
  • Deep familiarity with common electrical test and development equipment (oscilloscopes, LCR meters, logic analyzers, power supplies)
  • Extensive knowledge in analog/digital circuit design, PCB design, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with sensor integration, FPGAs/CPLDs, and microcontrollers
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve PCB failures
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Knowledge of radiofrequency energy generation and control
  • Understanding of IEC 60601 regulatory standards
  • Strategic thinking and ability to evaluate product risks and opportunities
  • Ability to bridge hardware/software engineering teams
